Print guidance & resources

Clear answers before ink ever meets paper.

Practical print guidance from MacGraphics on paper choices, Canva files, bleed, safe areas, folds, envelopes and file preparation.

A considered approach

Good service makes the unfamiliar feel manageable.

You should not need a production vocabulary to order something well. These guides explain the decisions that most often affect quality, cost and timing. When the answer depends on your exact job, Jim will talk it through with you.

THE MACGRAPHICS STANDARD

Personal attention is not an upgrade. It is how the work gets done.

How we guide the work

A clear path from conversation to finished piece.

01

Read what is useful

Use the guides to understand the decision—not to turn yourself into the production manager.

02

Bring the real project

A general rule becomes more useful when we can see the piece, audience and deadline.

03

Let Jim narrow the choices

We translate the technical options into a practical recommendation and clear next step.

Questions, answered

A little clarity before you begin.

Do I need to prepare my own print-ready file?

No. We can design the piece or inspect what you have. A finished file is helpful, but it is not a requirement for starting.

Can I see paper or material options in person?

Yes. Visit the Fernandina Beach studio or ask Jim which samples would be most useful for your project.

What information should I bring?

The intended audience, purpose, approximate quantity, deadline and any existing brand files are a helpful start. We can guide the rest.

Your next step

Nothing to figure out today. Just a conversation.

Jim will learn what the project needs to accomplish, explain the choices and guide the details from design through finish.
